The mission of Seaview Boatyard is to provide boat repairs and customer service at the highest level of quality; both aspects of our mission are of equal importance.

In order to assure that we realize the objectives implicit in our mission it is essential that we consistently produce not merely a high quality product, but one that exceeds anything else that is available on the market, for it is only then that we can expect to develop and maintain a broad and loyal customer base. In order to ensure that the work we provide is to equal to our standard of excellence, we at Seaview strive to foster a positive environment for our employees, one in which they are welcome to articulate their opinions and concerns, and in which they use comments and critiques from the management as a constructive performance enhancement tool.

We encourage our employees to develop and refine their technical skills, as well as their ability to self-manage and make effective decisions; we endeavor to create and maintain an environment that is most conducive to their continued personal growth. These principles dictate that we treat our customers and their opinions and concerns, with the utmost respect, that we take the time to discuss the repair process in as much detail as necessary, and that we recognize the significance and value that each individual's boat holds for them.

We welcome our customer's participation in the repair process to whatever degree they are comfortable with - whether it be hands-on, in an advisory capacity or in absentia. We believe that good communication is essential to all aspects of project management, as a result we encourage an open and honest dialogue between our management and our customers, one in which both parties are free to articulate their needs and their concerns. We strive to ensure that our customers are kept up-to-date on the progress of their project and any changes that may arise.

At Seaview we make every effort to accommodate the wishes of our customers, to seek new solutions to problems that appear difficult to resolve and to pursue innovative repair methods where previously no remedy existed; no project is considered impossible until all avenues have been explored.
