BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
(BMPs)
EVERYONE MUST COMPLY
It is your responsibility to read and comply with posted B.M.P.'s.
NON-COMPLIANCE WITH BMPs WILL RESULT IN A MINIMUM $500 FINE
INCLUDING OWNER PERFORMING BOTTOM PAINT WORK (see #1)
1.
ALL BOTTOM PAINT RELATED WORK MUST BE PERFORMED BY SEAVIEW BOATYARD PERSONEL.
2.
NO SCRUBBING OF BOTTOM
PAINT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
3.
Grinding and power sanding operations must be contained by tenting (no fugitive dust) and performed with approved vacuum sander. Boat stalls must be swept or vacuumed daily. Please see yard store for necessary tenting material and clean-up equipment. DO NOT HOSE DOWN STALL.

No wet sanding
5.
No sandblasting
6.
No spray painting
7.
No gray water discharge

Topside painting procedures for "do-it-yourselfers": All paint cans, brushes, rollers, roller trays, etc. must be
in a containment tray. Cans must be sealed at all times, not left
open during job.
10.
When stripper is used visqueen
must be spread to capture residue.
11.
Any oil, anti-freeze, solvents
or contaminated fuel must be disposed of through the yard store.

ASSISTANCE AND SPILL CONTAINMENT KIT.
