By 1985 we had outgrown our Shilshole yard and decided to open a second location in a much larger facility along the Ship Canal across from Fisherman's Terminal. By keeping the original yard, Seaview West, at Shilshole the company could continue to offer the most popular services at the very convenient saltwater location. The second facility, Seaview East, at the former Seattle Cedar Mill site in Ballard enabled the company to bring in-house many of the services their customers, in the past, had to hire outside contractors to perform. With a 28,000 square foot repair building and an 88 ton travelift the yard could also serve much larger vessels. Today, both yards provide the finest in paint work, fiberglass repairs, woodwork, rigging, mechanical installations, and general maintenance as well as do-it-yourself and storage facilities.

In 1997 Seaview West underwent an expansion, shifting the repair stalls to a much greater area northeast of the old site. The mast repair area, previously located on A-dock was moved inside the yard. The final phase of the expansion included the construction of a 3,600 square foot climate and environment controlled boat repair building unparalleled in the Northwest.

In 2002, we opened our third and largest Seaview site, Seaview North at Squalicum Harbor. With this new location we will be able to offer North Sound boaters the same high quality marine restoration and maintenance services that our South Sound customers have come to rely on.
